Well it might be the O2 sensor or the MAF... so I'm gonna have the ECU read to see what the code is.

Actually the hose is bigger than the opening to the smog unit. I'm going to try to fit it over the opening. Can't you get a hose clamp to keep it in place? |

This is too wierd. I think our cars are cosmically joined because my CEL went off this morning  I didn't open up my fender to check the hoses to the smog unit. |

I was told that you need to clean your MAF about a week after you clean your filter... so I bought some brake cleaner today and I"m gonna clean my MAF with it on the weekend... we'll see how it goes.

Really? I never did that when I cleaned my filter in the spring. And I never got a CEL. Wierd.......maybe I just had pure luck.

no cel since january w/ the install of the unichip.  didn't clean off the MAF either when i cleaned the filter... jackie, you may want to consider a chip.... |

I think I'd go with the Power FC if I went with that... just cuz that seems to have the better gains for the celica...
