just ordered it.... ooooh i cannot wait! MMMM!!!!! gotta first gut my downpipe but will end up doing that the same time i install the springs next month (after the car gets back from the shop). not geting the exhaust for the LGT though, just the downpipe. exhaust may come next year.... Link: Stage 2 Power Package (305 HP / 345 lb-ft) With our Stage 2 package, the Legacy GT is transformed into a monster with +50% more torque available by 3000 RPM. Overall drivability is greatly improved and power delivery is significantly smoother. Our Stage 2 power package includes our new dual-muffler Turboback exhaust system featuring a subtle exhaust tone that doesn't get too loud or drone inside the cabin -- all while remaining purposeful sounding under hard acceleration. Finishing out the package is the AccessPORT, a hand-held ECU map transportation device. With it, you can simply load our Stage 2 software into your ECU and drive away. No need for downtime to ship your ECU to us. In addition to the extra power, the AccessPORT provides a host of other conveniences such as Anti-Theft mode, Valet mode, maps for various octane rates and more. To find out more about the AccessPORT, please click here.

Hahaha, what happened to not modding the car for awhile? Hmm?
How much did that run you?

Yeah.....same question for me. I remember hearing that you were not going to mod the car this year. I guess that failed miserably didn't it?!!

hey, 2 years is a really really long time! besides, i'm trying to pace myself. and the downpipe gutting is free, so just the AP and install for springs (will have one of the guys from the dealership give us some guidance). Phil, Mike and I will do the installing under Mike's supervision and know how. next year will be pulleys, swaybars, and maybe some nice rims (wishful thinking). but really, it will be house buying time and shortly after that will be pay off the Vibe and get Phil his subie... either an STI or WRX to mod. he's still gotta figure out which route he wants to take.

Try to run a better time at the track rather than just adding more hp's . It's not like you need more anyway .

but won't that happen with more power and torque anyways? and if he gets an STI, then no modding it. if he gets a WRX, then it will be modded. for the $$$, it's cheaper to go with the WRX and mod it well over the STI and still be less than the price of the stock STI.

it's up to him. he knows th STI will be much more overall cost than the modded WRX (especially if you include insurance $250 USD/mo)

well, phil's still relatively cheap. he looks at the price that goes with the car and adds it all up. then there's me.... if i want it bad enough, i can justify and ratiionalize ANYTHING! lol
good thing he's more sensible with his spending than i. i don't care either way. if he gets the STI, then my car will still be faster. but i think he wants to tinker with the car so he's leaning towards a WRX. plus, all the guys at work have MODDED MODDED WRX's and have told him to get a WRX over the STI and they'll help him with it all.

Well if the guys at SUBARU have modded WRX's, and they say it is the way to go....then definetely the way to go!
