i don't know. 
i have to check the power cord and make sure there's still power to it. if not, then i know i must have a disruption in the power. besides, i need to install the inline fuse and also the voltage regulator anyways. i'm going to try and attempt this tomorrow. gonna also go ahead and go stage 1 with the car until i can gut the downpipe.
