Ahhh I remember those... I took them off to fit my APC clears... they never leaked... my problem is that I can't get it in far enough to be able to twist it... it's getting caught on something.

Take it out and try it in different configurations (turn 45°) untill you find a position (sounds dirty ;D) that works. Now that you mention it, I think I had to do that. But I kept my rubbers on.

Anything is possible... as long as you are OK with cutting the fenders or bumper. Lots of people get aftermarket sidemarkers on their cars... I even considered it.

Not to rain on the parade.....but I think that sidemarkers are only made for certain vehicles such as the Celica. But for the Vibe/Matrix......I do not think that it would look good. Just my 2 cents though.

Some of my friends have them on their RSX and it looks pretty good... just gotta do it clean... nice and small... I really like the ones on the Mazda 3. Nice and subtle.
