Monday morning about 11:45 am, no traction with plenty of room and a spare lane next to me, just kept sliding at 5 mph. threw the car into reverse to stop, but no success. by the time i got a little traction to catch the wheels to get into the other lane, it was too late.... photobucket.com/albums/v384/trdvibe/2005%20Subaru%20Legacy%20GT/Car%20Accident%20Jan%2030%2006/on the upside, i did need to get the clear bra redone.... my new blizzaks arrived at Conti today so those will be installed on Saturday. Plus, i think i'm gonna upgrade the headlights to the 06 chromed ones and possible get the sport mesh grill. it'd be awesome to locate the 3.0 spec B JDM front bumper, but so far I can't seem to find anywhere that isn't in Japanese. and the grill that I just ordered: the body kit i'd really really like to have (but won't ever get):

The first accident ALWAYS sucks! But at least it was not a high speed accident and that you were ok. The car will be all better in no time.

yes, the insurance adjuster even allotted for the $300 grill and added that into what they will be paying for!

That is really unfortunate SOrry to hear about the damage. Nothing is more frustrating then when you can see something bad is about to happen but are completely powerless to stop it. Something similar happened to me as well, except that I wasn't actually in the car. Just came out of Home Hardware here in Wainwright and saw a 1 ton duelley backing up. I could have sworn that he knew my car was behind him, but no, to my incredulous surprise he just kept going (even though he had MORE then enough room to pull out) and backed right into my car with me watching the entire time. In anycase, nothing too serious, just punched a small square hole in my bumper from his hidden hitch mount (good thing he didn't have the hitch attached, would have taken out my rad). Good luck with the repairs! Make sure you get pics up when you get it all squared away.

Hey 007.....sounds very familiar in when someone backed into my front left fender with me in the car. I left him enough room to back out, but yet he still managed to hit me.

Well 1" is not a bad drop......but if you are paying a lot more to get the extra 1/4" of a drop.....not sure if that would be worth it.

Why are you going with the Tein Springs as opposed to... Hotchkiss or something? Just wondering, I was looking at the Hotchkiss stage one suspension upgrade, caught my eye. So was wondering if you had a specific reason for your choice.
