springs arrived yesterday! got the headlights in and proceeded to clear them last night. i was very very tired, cranky and not feeling well. should have just left them as I messed up the passenger side (replacement) a little and totally F'd the drivers side! i didn't double check for the time and temp to do it and just "improvised" at my own risk. needless to say i'm a little pissed at myself! i knew better and just did it anyways. at least it was the driver's side that i really messed up and can use the existing housing and just swap out the inner piece.

i'm clearing the orange reflectors out. you have to actually break the seal of the headlights, take them apart and then remove the orange reflector. since i melted the NEW headlight, i'll have to disassemble both new and old ones to use the housing for the old one that isn't melted and put the inner chrome assembly inside that. right now, it does look a little different, but most people probably wouldn't even be able to tell they are different. the grill is HOT!!! but there is a slight gap i will need to fix on the bottom, but easily done with some cardboard or something just to push the bumper up a little. got the front license bracket to reattach the plates as i really don't want to get a ticket and then another one for my tint.

I would use something else other then cardboard. it will get wet over time and might fall out. Might as well use something that will last and then you do not have to worry about it again.

That is wierd that only a couple of pictures worked, and not the others. I use photobucket as well and I have never had any issues.
The car looks good Hope! I really like the grill! Looks sharp! And you are right......you can not even tell the difference with the headlights. Good work!

well we got the install on JC's springs done but no time to do mine. everyone was too tired. but they are gonna try and get it done today since Dale and Phil have the day off and it should only take a couple hours. he says the legacy's easier to do but that's because he's one of the subie techs and more familiar.
