I leave this morning for the thriving metropolis of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. We are driving away at 8:45 this morning (1 hour from now) and won't be back until next Saturday. Somehow I managed to make it on to the Base Hockey team as a goaltender and the Small Base Regional competition is in Moose Jaw. I just thought that I would post to tell you all about it and hope that I can get some good luck..... I'm gonna need it, our team this year is weeeaaaak. It's never fun to be a tender with a weak team in front of you.
So! Please wish us good luck!! Huzzah!

yes, we have our US and Canadian flags at home.... figure this way, we all come out ahead! too bad the women's hockey team (US) screwed themselves for the Gold medal round.. oh well, bronze is better than none. now for the men, they need to get themselves in gear!

huh? what are you talking about? the men won bronze in curling! ha ha ha! besides, we're only 1 medal short of overall medal count at the winter games... how many does canada have again?  really, though, we (phil and i) figure we're number one since we have both US and Canadian medals to count.... LOL |
