Well, back from Moose Jaw. We got the Silver medal, not bad considering the avg age of our team was double the winners. Not to mention that two members of the Moose Jaw team (gold medalists) played for the WHL. Good time was had though, got a week off work and got paid to play hockey, can't ask for much more than that.
As for the Canadian Men's playing... BRUTAL! It's like they didn't even care. At least that's how it looked watching on TV. As usual Martin Brodeur was phenomenal, standing on his head to make wicked saves, but even his acrobatics didn't help motivate the team. Besides that, what an amazing showing from the remainder of the Canadian Olympic team. Chandra Crawford with a Gold Medal in Cross-Country Sprint! Cindy Klassen winning 5 medals! I mean, wow, who would have thought that for a country with 30 million people that we can compete with the States that has 30 million in one city! Congrats to all our Athletes!
