The new guy

Hey there all,

Well, I'm the new guy in town and I'm getting myself an '05 Matrix XRS. I've been perusing the MO site and I was recommended to pop in here as well. Since this is my first car that i can actually have a little fun with, I'm not in the know when it comes to changing various aspects or performance and/or entertainment. However, I like to do research and learn.

I'm intent upon making this car unique and I would love a little help if possible. My first mods should be something like Rims/Rubber, CAI, exhaust, springs, RSB, stereo. Not necesarily in that order.

Anywho, Good to meet y'all and I look forward to much conversation in the future.

Hey hey welcome :)I was that guy pm you in MO ;D.

As they said in MO, you can get Injen CAI from '04 xrs to use on your '05 xrs.

CAI, Injen from '04 xrs
Exhaust, go with magnaflow
Springs, depends on how low you want your ride and let me know I'll give you some info on it.
RSB, well you have three options, TRD sways, Hotchkis sways or Progress RSB.
Stereo, ask Mike aka DJDoubleLP.

What kind of things happen around here? I mean, like get togethers and such? I've read a few things that indicate a fairly close society which is very cool. I think it'd be great fun to be able to meet the people that help me out (that's not to say that I wouldn't want to meet the people that don't either )
