I suck at launching! lol. i tried to do the whole torque braking thing, but just couldn't do much past 1100 rpm for fear of transmission detonation! so i pretty much just stomped on the gas from 0. still, not too bad for being stock minus the gutted uppipe. best run was 15.039 @ 92.53 mph, first one of the day and beat (just by a hair) a Ford Mustang 5.0 15.072! of course my reaction time totally sucked at 1.13! they don't add the reaction time, just the actual trapt time once you roll over the line. can't wait til i go stage 1 and add a few performance mods, then go back and see what/if there's a difference. i'd like to get in the low 14's maybe high 13's. my biggest problem is the auto and not being able to spool up at launch.

Your subaru is auto?  With that kind of hp you should be running 14s no question asked  . |

well, if i could have figured out the launch, i'd have gotten into the high 14s probably.  guess i'll have to work on that til i go stage 1 and back to the track next spring. lol. of course, most likely, i'll be auto crossing the LGT this sunday. or take the vibe, not sure yet. it handles and corners so much better! |

lol. no, he's the more sensible one. he let's me make all the noise and he then has to calm me down or bring me back to earth. but looks like i won't be able to auto-x. i may have a work meeting sunday. so if we go, it'll be to watch. however, i scored a transmission cooler but need mounting hardware and someone to install it. |
