I sure hope the Turbo works out, your warranty is going to be toast, I'm sure the power will be cool however I'm still too nervous to do that to my car unless it was a pro doing the install. I'm going to use the SC then we'll race hehe.

Yeah, I'm still looking into the install...might go professional. Depends on the $$$. As long as it's not too outrageous (like more than the turbo costs).
And the warranty isn't necessarily as bad as you might think. Jeff with the turbo'd Vibe in Michigan just got his differential replaced under warranty (after he blew it at the track). As long as the damage isn't directly caused by the mods, I think you are ok.

Yup......you are right Carrie. If you have a problem with the car.......and it is not because of a modification that you have made.......then it is still under warranty. DO NOT let the dealer tell you otherwise.

I'm definately getting the S/C and then going all out moding that way. Probably get the smaller pulley and TMI from a Subie. I have been researching so ths will make it a better way for me to go. I was looking at the Turboed setup and I'm concerned about what can happen. I'll get the TRD version and then go for the Unichip. Unless I can find a wrecked Trix and steal the ECU.

It would probably be easier for you to just get the Unichip. That way they can have it programmed before you get it.....a lot easier for install....no screwing around with an ECU from another Vibe or 'Trix. Basically it would be plug and play.
