Unreal!! That is just screwed up. I feel so bad for that little girl. Her mom is obviously not of sane mind and needs some help.

What bugs me is not the fact that the mom told her kid to bring the jello shots in. What bugs me is that the school and the police are going to charge her even if they don't contain alcohol. That is like arresting somebody who brings brownies to a bakesale because they might contain weed.
