WOOHOO - I got a lap top!!

So my work was auctioning off stuff they didn't want anymore, including a bunch of laptops. I won the bid on the one I wanted with 18 seconds before the close of the auction ;D

Probably ticked off some people who had been bidding all week...haha. Anyways, I'm excited because I haven't had my own computer at home for like a year, and it sucks. I was going to by a new Dell next month, but this saved me a bunch of $$$

I paid $478 for it. Here's the specs:

-512 MB Ram
-40GB Hard Drive
-DVD-Drive
-Wireless Capability
-1.6GHz Processor
-Windows XP CD (Uninstalled)

gettin set up. got messenger installed and working now...woohoo.

I haven't set up the wireless stuff yet, have to figure out which of the 10 drivers that IBM lists on their site is the right one...

So I'm off work now till Sept. 6th. Got a couple of days to relax, and then it's off to Vernon! ;D
