hey, matrix, i bet it was a crazy crazy day for you with the plane crash! glad we weren't traveling in your neck of the woods right now! and glad that phil's folks got back just fine and this didn't happen before they left! they were nervous about never having flown, much less have an accident like that!  |

My g/f was flying on her way to Montreal on Saturday and had to stop in Toronto, and she told me that the turbulence on the way into T.O. was the worst that she has ever been in. And then this plane crashes three days later.....it really freaked her out.

i've flown plenty of time into TO and i wouldn't say the turbulence is any more or less better than other airports. I do understand however, there are some odd weather right now on the East Coast. sure glad I don't live there now! lol. they're gearing up for hurricane season!  |

Well the hurricanes rarely make it all the way up to the Maritimes.....so I am sure that they are not too worried there.

oh good to hear then. yes, how amazing no one was seriously injured in something like that! i suppose if you were going to be in an accident such as a plane crash, that'd be the kind that i'd want to be in! lol
