grill works

this saturday, phil went to work and i went to lowes. with the help of some online assistance from members on legacygtowners.com, i "attempted" to do this... twice (and most likely will try again to perfect it).

stock grill:

attempt 2: cut out a mold, and then shape the mesh... lined w/ black screening to help keep out the bugs!

well, on to the next grill project: lower grills. well, actually, it'll be ONE grill that i'm going to cover the whole underside. while doing that, i'm going to redo the headlights and paint the insides chrome. it's supposed to be sunny tomorrow so i'm planning to spend the day taking the whole front bumper off so i can work on the headlights and grill.

Be careful when taking your headlights apart in that make sure to seal it properly when you are done or you will get condensation build-up on the inside of the lenses. I had this problem when I JDMed my headlights on my Matrix. It sucks.

well, i already broke the seal on them when i cleared them back in May. they won't fit back together properly if they are not sealed right. i did that the first time. had to reseal it. so ya, i know. that's always my fear. but so far so good. i've got all the sealers and what not to do it.... i hope i just don't get paint where i don't want it!
