So many questions...
This one is about Rims/tires. I've been looking around to see what I would be interested in saving for. My choice has fallen on the Konig Unknown. Either 18's or 19's. So my question is: Between the 2 sizes, what are the benefits or downfalls? Why would someone get 19's when 18's are cheaper? Is it just a looks thing or are there other considerations I should know about?

19's look nice........BUT the tires are much more expensive and not as common. Where as with 18's you have much more choice on the type of tire that you can get and in that way it will cost you less for tires. PLUS you get more rims to choose from as well with 18's.

Gotcha, here are some prices that I've calculated.
Rims are from Edmonton, tires from Tirerack (pricing only, no shipping/handling or duty. Prices converted to $CA)
18" konig Unknown with Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 4 x Rims, 4 x Tires: $2319
19" Konig Unknown with BF Goodrich gForce T/A KDW-2 4 x Rims, 4 x Tires: $2719
I guess the ultimate decision is up to me if I want to spend the other $400 dollars. But it's good to hear other people's thoughts on the matter.

Why are you getting your tires from Tirerack? I know that the Tire Warehouse in Edmonton gives really good prices for tires. I would price them out and see what they can offer you. and if I am right they can get you the rims that you want also....definetely worth looking into getting a package deal.

The only reason that I went with tire rack is that I used them as research to find something good for tires. I like their rating system and the feedback from users. Made it easy to see what is good and what isn't. It's the cheapest price that I have found online so far. I'll have to give tire warehouse a call as well.

I got my Blizzaks from the Tire Warehouse.....17", studless....installed for $900. Pretty good price. They were $500 LESS then what I would have paid in Fort McMurray for the same tires.

Nice! I wrote them an email with the information that i wanted. I downloaded one of their brochures, looks pretty good so far. Hope it's cheaper than Canadian Tire. You should see the prices they want to charge for tires!!
