Ok, you know when you look at your headlights and they are dirty? You see the beam trying to push through the dirt and then you clean them and it's better? Well, what do you do when the lexan is pockmarked from small stones? How do you get that clear look again?

You could try some of that Meguires SCRATCH X on them. If not I believe there is an article on 9thgen that explains sanding and polishing the lights to remove the haze you get from time. If it is that bad maybe a set of X3 lights as they are cheaper than the oem. Too bad this had not come up earlier I just sold my OEM lights that were used for only 3 months cheap a couple weeks ago.
Question though you originally from Edmonton? I was born and raised there till I was 17 (25 years ago LOL) I may be out that way this winter or early spring maybe we can hook up.

you can try to clean them as best as possible, but with the pot marks and what not, you gotta get new ones. then get headlight protector film.

The Meguiars ScratchX is goos stuff. I use it all the time. It gets rid of the fine scratches that show up on your lenses.

Groovay, I'll try these suggestions. As for protector film (the 3M stuff right?), I need to get new fog lights cause my are toast (gotta love rocks) and I expect that I will film them. As for headlights, I didn't know they made such a thing but I'm not surprised. Question though you originally from Edmonton? Not orginally, I was born in Halifax, raised in Wetaskiwin, now I'm back in Edmonton after being all over the country (and Europe) with the military. I may be out that way this winter or early spring maybe we can hook up. Cool! Only as long as you bring your vehicle, I'd love to get a look first hand at the things that you've done Other than that, thanks for the suggestions again! I'll be putting them to good use momentarily.

The 3M film for the fogs is great. I have the yellow film and it sure does make a difference in the foggy weather. Plus it keeps them from busting if they get hit with rocks.
