Almost got the hard hatch cover done. I't mounted now I need to add a rubber gasket to the outer edge. I havn't decided to leave the aluminum checker plate chrome or paint it black. What do you guys think?

I personally would paint it silver, same color as the car. That way it blends in nicely. But it does look good! Nice job!

Well you can have chrome.....just not too much of it. I find some people go overkill on it.

Na chrome is for the old classics in my opinion. New cars and chrome don't seem to go good together. Give me a 56 or 57 chev and I will take the chrome LOL. Other than wheels that is.

The only problem that I personally would have it that my stereo would make that aluminum make a lot of noise.
