The Excel are not the best quality from what I have heard. You are better off with RS limited (by ADR). (See my sig). Whalen tire has an outlet in Kalispell (near Whitefish) 5 hours away from Calgary. You can dirive down and save on shipping and GST (if you stay in US for 48 hours, you get $200 exemption on GST). www.whalentire.com/wheeldetail.cfm?wheelnumber=RSL187710H40GM&size=17I have a timeshare 15 minutes away from Kallispell and can get you a free two night stay there. PM me if you are intereted in driving down there to pick up the rims.

Thanks Greg, I appreciate the offer. Currently, Whalen doesn't have anything I'm interested in with my preferred finish and size, but I'll definitely keep them in mind in the future.

Mine look just like the MR7's what size are you looking for?
I'll probably stick with 17" and reuse my stock tires for now. I thought about upsizing to 18", but then I would have to spend extra $$ on rubber.

Well if you happened to be interested in mine just let me know... you can always get them powder coated to the colour you want... that's probably what I'll do with mine if I don't get 18"

No problem, and whalen does have rims that look just like the two you posted from wheelmax. Well, when I do a search for 18" rims that fit a Pontiac Vibe GT, there's only one style in black and the style doesn't appeal to me (and isn't like what I posted already). If I'm searching wrong, let me know. I'm not in any hurry whatsoever, so I can wait for exactly what I want: black, 18", and looks like this:

Keely, have you tried www.tirerack.com? They have a neat function where you can "try out" the wheels on an image of your Vibe. There is also the Canadian version at www.tiretrends.ca
