Nice! My question is more of a general question. Why do people feel the need to wax their brand new car?? It already has a good wax from the factory. And if it was properly P.D.I'ed from the dealership it should already have a good wax. Waxing a car too much can actually not be good for the paint. Because you constantly build up wax, more and more.....what happens is dirt gets trapped between the layers of wax. So now when you wash it you are rubbing around the dirt.....scratching the paint. Unless you are removing the past layer of wax....the paint will be damaged.

well, usually the dealerships (this is the seventh vehicle i've purchased since 98) haven't done the best job. i believe that if you want something done right, do it yourself if you can. so that's exactly what i did.

Very true. But you would think for the money that you are paying that they would be able to do a better job.

I plan on waxing mine as soon as the weather cooperates. To my knowledge, the dealer DOES not wax the cars, and they definitely do not come from the factory with wax.
And besides, they look so nice and shiny all waxed ;D

Mine came painted red. I don't plan on changing that anytime soon.

yep, yours came that way but mine were boring and ugly. they are so much bigger than the vibe's. lol. i think red would have looked gay with the color blue of the car. plus would have stood out too much and detract from the car itself. this weekend, should be doing the tint and also installing the sub and amp. can't wait! whoo hooo!
