So far this year, Christmas was looking pretty crappy. Problem after problem and family stress...blah blah. And then for the grand finale...we had to take my daughter to emergency on Wed. night. She was in so much pain she could hardly walk - her appendix was starting to rupture. Poor thing.
So they operated at 3am Thursday morning. She's still in hospital, starting to recover now. We are hoping she will be out on Sunday if today goes well. she's starting to be able to walk a little bit, but still needs quite a bit of help to get up out of bed.
Merry Christmas to me
But at least she's going to be ok, and we are counting our blessings this Christmas instead of counting our presents - so that is kind of a blessing in a weird way.
