Hey, I have 3 paint chips on my hood, which is pretty good considering I drove a lot of highway miles this winter. Anyway, how do you (aka the experts) take care of paint chips. What kind of cleaner do you use, how do you prepare and what is the best for little rock chips?
Thanks!

Does anybody know how to fix these paint chips? I want to do it here soon, because I'm going to layer on some polish/wax soon. I bought myself a cordless orbital buffer!!! (also plugs in if the battery dies).

Go to matrixowners.com and search the forums for "Repair Paint Chips".

I got the touch up pen from Toyota and it worked great on my 15-20 chips on the hood and front bumper. And it's not even a year old yet!

Our cars (Matrix in particular), are magnets for paint chips. I have lots of them too that I have to touch up.

i think all toyota cars are magnets for paint chips. my tundra was the same way... or maybe it had something to do with me looking for the rocks, gravel, and mud..
