Rumor has it the Secret Street event out at Race City will be a go after all this season. Anyone planning on doing some drag racing this year? It should start about mid April...

I'm not sure if I'll race this year, or just go watch. Watching would be fun too, and I'm not sure yet if I want to put the car through the punishment. It's pretty fun though...

not cheap!  $150-$200 for SNELL rated ones here. and phil has to get one too, so we've got to get 2 of them. |

Ouch! I won't be getting one of those soon. Probably no racing this year either. I can't afford to break anything  I figure we need to spend at least a few thousand on our yard this summer |

Racing at Race City sounds fun....I'll probably go warranty is finally up this year might as well have some fun.

Yeah exactly. But I am thinking of waiting until summer tires are almost done to do some laps. That way I will not feel as bad burning rubber. |
