Maybe it's cuz I sit so much lower but I feel EVERY little crack and bump in the road... My hatch squeaks now from the rough ride. It's quite annoying.

Well when I put on my 18's with the low profile tires I definetely felt a difference in the ride quality in that I felt ever bump on the road.....but that was due to the stiffer sidewall that is on the tires. So more then likely you are feeling that....and with lowering it the springs are stiffer so you will definetely feel more in the way of bumps on the road.

Has anyone heard of the Tien coilovers with the remote motorized height adjustment? That would be pretty cool. I haven't seen too many struts that are compatible with our cars yet, i.e. Tokico Illumina. Hmmm.... group buy? I run the Tein HA's on my celica, they aren't avalible anymore, they were special order from japan. They don't have the EDFC (the motorized adjusters), they just have a little nob on top to adjust them. They are a really nice setup, but the HA's were a race edition that have more agressive springs and valveing. The Tein SS avalible here are softer for a nicer ride, I've herd some people with the EDFC have had problems with the amount of camber they can put on the car before the EDFC motor gets in the way of the hood. On a matrix there is probably more room though.

any mods i have planned are going to be fixing my lower front bumper, getting the 3 piece ebay grill, different fogs (another foglight casualty), wiring the fogs to come on independantly, and a very very big MOVE!

Jackie I still don't think your shocks are blown your car doesn't bounce that badly I think they are right that due to your really low ride height your car feels the bumps quite easily.

1) Need to fix my car door first 2) Get tires for my new rims (thanks Warren!! ;D) 3) Lowering Springs + Struts...but struts may have to wait because the budget just doesn't seem to allow struts to fit in. If I were to get struts, some Koni Yellows or something would be nice. 4) Purchase Kaminari side and rear w/ Bomex front (paint and install in Spring 2005) That's what I'm hoping to accomplish within the next 3-4 months but I doubt it since Christmas is coming up...the dreaded "GIVE" holidays...if only someone knew what I wanted for Christmas *HINT HINT!!!!*

Depending on the budget in the spring: 1. Tinting 2. Lowering springs 3. Exhaust (?)
Already got one little goodie last week ;D . Does anyone have a torque wrench I could borrow?

Well, I was going to keep it as a surprise for our next meeting, but I got a Progress rear sway bar. For the fashion conscious among us, it is no longer turquoise green in colour, but gun metal grey.
It was kinda funny because all I got in the box was the RSB in grey, but no indication (decals, stampings, etc.) that it came from Progress other than the return address. I called them and they confirmed that they changed the colour due to complaints and are sending me some decals.
I don't really want to spend $90.00 for a torque wrench for only 2 bolts, so if anyone has one that I can borrow that would be great.

I have one but haven't unpacked it yet. When do you plan on installing it?
