I've had several new members contact me over on GVC telling me they are having a lot of difficulty signing up here. When I go into their profile, it says it's active however when they go to log in, it says it's waiting for admin approval. DJ, any suggestions??  |

Yeah.......I have no idea what is going on. I tried texted Jackie......but I have not heard back from her. Maybe Carrie could get a hold of her and see what is going on. Could you e-mail Carrie, Hope. And maybe we can get this fixed so that we do not have to wait for admin approval. Or maybe I just have no idea how to do it.  |

Oh wait! I think I might have figured it out! I changed the setting in the general settings in that new members had to wait for admin approval.....now they do NOT have to wait for it. PM the members hope and see if they can get in.

i went into the admin functions and then his profile. then changed the active or disable portion. I just emailed him back to try again.

i think the first time i tried signing onto this new forum there was a problem, but it was awhile ago so not sure how it was resolved. i'll go ahead and sign up again... then report my findings.

ok, well i just signed up and had no problem at all. not sure why others are. the instructions are a little off however. you have to log in with the user name and password that was created first and then it requests an activation code that is emailed to you. just paste it in and voila! here i am.
