Hey there people, So, just thought that I would update you all as to what I have been up to for the past little while. Well, some of you might know that I am getting married, so that has been consuming a significant portion of my free time. As well, I recently moved back to Edmonton from Wainwright and back to a civilian job with the Military reserves relegated to part time. Speaking of the military, I'm sure that some of you might have seen coverage of the 90th anniversary of the battle for Vimy Ridge. Well, I was there, on parade, in France for the whole thing. The military sent 350 people over to partake in the festivities and 18 of them were from my unit. We got that honour because about 3 years ago they found the skeletons of two soldiers buried near Avion, France. They happened to be from our unit and they have identified one of those soldiers as Pte. Herbert Peterson from Barry Creek Alberta. He fought with our unit in France. So, we were sent to conduct a military funeral and bury in a WWI cemetery near Vimy Ridge. In any case, we were there for two weeks and did and saw many things that I'll never be able to do/see again. I have a few pictures, take a gander if you have a chance. s160.photobucket.com/albums/t200/007_NK/
