When I haven't been working my butt off, we've been busy at home with our new hobby. We have 3 fish tanks right now, one small 2 gallon one with a siamese fighting fish, a 30 gallon, and the new one, a 135 gallon. I used to have a 20 gallon fish tank; ah I missed the old days.
Is it just me or the big tank above doesn't have any fish in it?

It had a few when the picture was taken, but you can't really see any in it. There are 12 fish in there now, one flying fox, 2 bala sharks, 3 farlowella catfish, and 6 german blue rams.
Waiting to be moved out of quarantine are 3 discus and 5 congo tetras.

oh nice.  i was just telling phil on our way home on the plane yesterday that i thought it'd be cool to have a fish tank, but then we'd have to clean it and that would suck. lol. |

Actually, it's not that bad to clean out. Just vacuum the gravel and change 25% of the water once a week. Unless you're a fanatic like Vince, who is changing the water every few days ;D
I find the fishies so relaxing to watch. They all have cute little personalities too, so much fun to watch them doing their little fish thing.

I have mostly neon tetras and other fish that I can not remember the name of right now. They are not that big. I have about 12 fish in the tank right now. |
