Here's an updated shot of the fish tank And last night we were surprised to find that one of the discus had laid eggs!! I guess he's a she ;D

How often do you clean it and replace 25% of the water?

Usually clean it twice a week. More often if the algae starts getting out of hand. We stopped dosing nitrogen for the plants for ahile(store was out), and this slimy green algae started taking over. Pain in the ass!!

i think it'd be kinda cool to do a fish tank like that, but then.... one of those oddball things the ex and i were going to do (he was big into aquariums and marine life) that i don't want one now.
