Unless somebody here wants to plan it nobody in the other clubs wants to do it.

I'm going on the Friday for sure especially if we are going to racecity again. But I too have a wedding on the Saturday and my middle daughters birthday party on Sunday. I think Dinner and a race that Friday night with all the clubs would be cool.

Ah man, all these beans on the floor...
Well, I kind of have a completely new life starting in the next few weeks. I have to find time, from my current job, to go to edmonton and get a truck load and small trailer load of my furniture and such and move them to Medicine Hat where I start teaching September 1st. (I finished my After Degree in Edmonton this spring) I still have my classroom to get ready and all my yearplans and etc. I'm an easy going person and I'm already stressed about all the stuff I have to do... Thank goodness I spent last week with my family and went to Alaska.. ;D
Caught me some fish, saw some whales, did some river rafting... Ate some incredible food...
At least my current job for the Town of Okotoks is pretty laid back now that the Alberta Summer Games are over. Talk about crazy amount of organization for an event that big! I can now chill, and dream about the ways I will modify my vibe...

No, I didn't get up to Anchorage.. The furthest north was Hubbard Glacier. That is one big chunk of ice.. I ended up salmon fishing in Ketchican (SP?). Was a slow day, so I was told. 4 hours on the open ocean and I caught 3 salmon. 2 pink salmon and 1 king salmon. Man, I love fishing for big fish. By the time I had the 20pound king in (not lieing, really!!), I could feel the bicep on my left arm. Felt kinda good! I'm used to catching stupid little rainbow trout... about 1 pound each... I could see myself spend a month or two in Alaska some summer. S.E. Alaska was awesome.. LOL!

LOL! pinks, eh? well, we feed pink salmon to our dogs. 20 lb king isn't too bad either. up here, it's not uncommon to catch a 40-50 lber. couple summers ago, my dad caught a 55 lb king in Eagle River (where i live). was HUGE!!! but that's cool you got to go to ketchikan and southeast. i haven't ever been. would love to get to sitka, juneau, ketchikan, petersburg area some day. it's such a huge state! hard to see the entire thing and i've lived here for 12 yrs! LOL glad you had fun! if you ever make it up to anchorage, let me know. can give you some pointers or we can have a mini meet! might just be a couple vibers though. myself, most likely mav by that time, and then you!

LOL! Thanks for the offer... It would be fun to take the vibe on a road trip with the curves of mountain roads.

It would be fun to take the vibe on a road trip with the curves of mountain roads. it wouldn't be any road trip, my friend. you will experience the event in life knows as "the al-can highway!" people from all over the world rent RV's just to drive it because it's a life dream... i know. i don't understand it either. but it is a beautiful drive. long, but beautiful.
