nice times! very impressive! considering my best time was 15.03 @ 92.53 mph in the LGT. can't wait to go back next spring though. Hopefully i'll be able to improve my launches and times after I go stage 2.

uppipe, downpipe, and ECM. i gutted the uppipe already, will gut the downpipe and add the ECM. total cost about $645 for ECM (gutting up/down pipes FREE!) should put me about 305 hp/ 320 ft-lbs

More then the STI??? That does not make sense to me that it would take that little to do so.

why not? if you research the engine, it's the same as the STI, just tuned down. that's why a lot of tuners are now focusing on the LGT's because they can get over 400hp on the stock turbo. with an upgraded turbo, they are pulling 490 awhp! a lot less hassling from the cops too! down side, with the exception of the Spec B (only 500 made for the US), the suspension is quite soft and needs some reinforcement.

Nice!! Does that open the doors for you in the mod department for the engine in that it is the same as the STI engine??

oh yes! and more and more performance parts become available almost monthly. it's pretty nice really. i can get so much more a/m support on the LGT than the Vibe. of course, now they are coming out with more and more options, but still... not like they already have for the LGT. we don't have as much of course as the STI, but there are a lot of things that do fit on both cars. that's a big plus for me.

lol. well, phil is also "hoping" to get an sti in a few years too. really, at this point i don't really care. i think we will be close to having his vibe paid off by then, so i think we may keep it and turn it into an autocross car. it handles great and i still love that fusion color! besides, other than stage 2 for the LGT, i don't want to do anything too crazy to it for fear it won't be reliable. i really need it for work especially after i'll have all those electronics in the car.

Have you gotten an Optima battery yet? You will probably need it to help with the electronics that you are adding to your car.

The red top works fine for me actually, so I would not worry about changing batteries.
